Construction of buildings
I built a 3-story, 20x30 foot warehouse using 2x4's, 2x6's, and 2x8's. The roof is a metal roof with a skylight. The walls are insulated with foam insulation. The doors and windows are metal.
The construction of buildings began with the use of natural materials, such as mud, stones, and wood. However, as civilizations developed and the need for more permanent buildings grew, builders began using more complex techniques, such as the use of mortar and concrete. Today, construction techniques continue to evolve as new materials and technologies are developed.
Extraction of minerals
Construction of buildings begins with the selection of the site for the construction. After the site is selected, the plans for the construction are drawn up. The plans include the size and shape of the building, the number and type of floors, and the types and quantities of materials that will be used. The construction crew begins by clearing the site of any trees or other obstructions. The crew then sets up the scaffolding and begins construction by installing the foundation, walls, and roof.
Extraction of minerals is the process of removing valuable substances from the earth's surface. Minerals can be extracted by a variety of methods, including drilling, blasting, and crushing.
